PREREQUISITES
Candidates must have an in depth understanding of Microsoft Windows
2000 and its many services. All candidates should have attended
the full MCSE core by this point or have extensive in the feild

Security
· Configure additional security for client-computer operating
systems by using Group Policy.
· Analysing the hackers process - assessing immediate threats
· Implementing, Managing, and Troubleshooting Service Packs
and Security Updates
· Determine the current status of service packs and security
updates. Tools include MBSA/ HFNetChk
· Hardening the Windows 2000 Sub-systems, file security
and defaults
· Classification of Viruses, Trojans and back doors.
· Implementing, Managing, and Troubleshooting Security-Enhanced
Communication Channels
· Troubleshoot IPSec, including IPSec rule configurations,
firewall config, routers, and authentication
· Configure wireless network connection settings on client
computers
· Public Key analysis, server design and implementation,
digital signing, hashing and secret keys
· Monitoring and Responding to Security Incidents including
disaster recovery policies
· Deploy security templates. Deployment methods include
using Group Policy
