Elective Examination: 70-285 (Design, deployment and implementation of Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server).

PREREQUISITES
Candidates must have an in depth understanding of Microsoft Windows 2000 or 2003 and their many services. All candidates should have attended the full MCSE/ MCSA core by this point or have extensive in the feild experience with Windows systems and internetworking. All candidates are to additionally have attended the Exchange 2003 administration, implementation and configuration course (70-284)

· Planning the implementation of Exchange server 2003 to co-exist in current environments
· Impact and gap analysis of Exchange server and logical environments within Active Directory

· Designing Exchange 2003 vitual protocols and connectors
· Configuration of routing groups, boundaries, bridgeheads and server relationships
· Real-time collaboration design using Chat Service, Instant Messaging, or both
· Securing Exchange server against internal and external attacks
· Firewalling, anti-spoofing, black-listing, virus protection and other advanced security in 2003
· Implementing Exchange Server to co-exist with other messaging services
· Monitoring logs, alerts an performace
· The administrative model
· Advanced user features within Active Directory
· Design multi-service fault tolerance
