ISA Server: Implementation and design of Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) server - 70-227

OVERVIEW
 At the core of many organisations is the pressing need to secure communications and internetworks throughout the enterprise. Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) server is Microsoft's premium firewall and proxy server solution. ISA server is certified by the International Computer Security Association (ICSA) - proven security and stability. With each student furnished with a client and server system, as well as integration into a global internetwork, delegate skills will be maximised through Blue Screen IT's unique practical approach to training and certification.

Elective Examination: 70-227 (Implementing and administering ISA server 2000).

PREREQUISITES
Candidates must have an in depth understanding of Microsoft Windows 2000 and its many services. All candidates should have attended the full MCSE core by this point or have extensive in the feild experience with Windows systems and internetworking.

· Planning, design and installation of ISA server
· Foundation security configuration necessary for common networking services
· Creation of policy elements including protocols, clients, destinations schedules and more
· Implementing packet filters, server publishing and secure extranet access
· Deploying ISA servers firewall client, configuring secure NAT and proxy server clients
· Configuration of proxy services including cache, scheduled services and authentication
· Internal access policies for secure LAN and Internet communications
· Implementing, Managing, and Troubleshooting Security-Enhanced Communication Channels
· Configuration of local client and server to server VPN's using L2TP and PPTP protocols
· Monitoring logs, alerts an performace of ISA server 2000
· Configuring ISA server into chains, arrays and integration for the enterprise
· Troubleshooting and managing the server and its services
· Design and deployment of ISA server within large scale enterprise networks
