Overview
The LPIC-2 certification is geared toward system administrators in a small to medium site. It is a well recognised vendor neutral qualifcation that provides the candidate with all the experience they need to further their knowledge in the Linux arena.
The LPIC-2 certification tests a wide variety of skills required to maintain a Linux based network, ranging from Linux Kernel, System Startup, Filesystems, Hardware, System Maintenance, System Customization and Automation and Troubleshooting in the first module, to Networking, Mail & News, DNS, Web Services, Network Client Management, System Security and Network Troubleshooting in the second exam.
