modules: These are the course modules that are mandatory

to select from in order to complete your MCSA. This allows the
delegate to further their skills into the field of their choice.
Upgrade
exam/ module: Microsoft has designed an upgrade path
that will allow an existing MCSA on Windows 2000 to earn the Windows
Server 2003 credential in a financially economic and effective
approach.
The MCSA is a collection of 4 Microsoft Exams - 3 Core, 1 elective = 4 weeks training or 1 upgrade. The electives can be one of the Microsoft electives mentioned below, or CompTIA A+ and NET+ can be combined as one elective, or CompTIA Security+ can be used as an elective.
