MCITP Database Administrator
Overview
Almost all enterprise applications fall onto a database sooner or later, and many of these leverage Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Databases also drive a multitude of websites and are employed in many other scenarios. As a database administrator your role is to keep these mission critical data repositories running and performing as well as can be, and as an MCITP in SQL Server 2008 you will be recognised as being capable of this.
This certification encompasses the Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
Achieving the MCITP Database Administrator
There is a single path to attaining your MCITP Database Administrator. First you must pass a single MCTS module.
70-432 TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance
After sitting this course the candidate is required to sit the corresponding PRO course.
After passing both exams the student will have attained the MCITP Database Administrator qualification.
