Q. Will I have to sit my exam and the end of each course week?
A. No, the exams can be taken whenever you feel comfortable, you can either sit them here while you are studying or take away a voucher that can be used at any Pearson VUE test centre in the UK. If we have no vouchers on stock no need to panic either, just let us know when and at which Pearson Vue test centre you would like to attend and we can arrange that all for you from here.
Q. How long do I have to take my exams or vouchers after I have completed my course?
A. We allow you to claim for your exam or vouchers up to a year after you first started on course with BluescreenIT and then most vouchers have at least another year on top of that, so plenty of time to study.
Q. How do I go about booking my CISSP or CISM Examination?
A. These are two vendors that are quite strict with their booking process for the examinations. The candidate writing the exam has to book the exam themselves. Once you have booked the exam, you will need to pay for this, however if you have a package that includes these exams, please send us a copy of the receipt of purchase along with your bank details and we will refund you the cost of the exam. Alternatively, this can be taken off the initial invoice for your package before payment is taken, however we will need the receipt for the exam before we can do this.
Here is a link for both exam vendors which will explain in more detail how you go about booking the exams.
Q. What happens if I fail my exam?
A. Depending on the Vendor of the examinations, the time-frame differs for when you can re-sit your exam. Sometimes 24hrs later and sometimes a week later. If you have a package that includes all your examinations, you only get one shot at these. If you fail, you will need to pay for another exam out of your own pocket.
