The Cyberhub Trust launched in March 2019 and was developed in response to the global demand for Cyber Security Professionals and the UK need to protect our digital networks from the rising levels of Cyber Crime. The concept and demand for our affordable cyber security services has grown from its initial pilot in 2017 into a 24/7 Security Operations Centre based in the heart of the South West.

Our first objective of Cyberhubs is to identify potential candidates and give them positive pathways into cyber security through industry recognised training alongside real world industry experience.
Our second objective is to marry them up with employers in the area or progress within and become a team member of their local community SOC. This provides them the best opportunity to start their career in Cyber and offers local businesses with affordable cyber security support
Our third objective is to make BIT Cyberhubs sustainable beyond CSIIF funding which is based on developing further apprenticeships and customers for the community SOC.
